This article shows how certain Spanish courts have altered the law to favour vulnerable mortgage consumers.

Why is it important?

Certain courts have reacted distorting the law to the lack of measures implemented by the Spanish legislator to protect mortgage consumers since the beginning of the 2007 financial crisis.
