What is it about?
The National Innovation System (NIS) is an important tool in Uganda's research, innovation and commercialization ecosystem, bringing together the variables, actors, and institutions involved in the country's transformation and growth. Fragmentation of the NIS notwithstanding, the study highlights the role of NIS framework conditions in promoting interaction and learning between and among NIS actors to generate, use, and commercialize new products, processes, and organizational practices.
