What is it about?

Lord Carter's review describes failings in performance of UK Ambulance Service/EMS. The identified failings are essentially a repetition of many almost identical similar findings. Nevertheless, most reports do not consider the wider cultural considerations in which these shortcomings exist. These include an unwillingness to put the workforce into a central role in decision making or to support them adequately. A more adjile organisation is needed to meet the needs of patients today and in the future.
