What is it about?

A reflection on 4 years of tailer made induction for a group of senior Chinese students transitioning to an Australian university. Lessons learnt along the way and adjustments made to arrive at a balanced program. The balance is between academic and social integration, both equally important to facilitate academic success.

Perspectives

This was an exciting project allowing an initiative set up with the best of intentions to adjust to the core stakeholder group. The outcomes confirm the importance of both the social and academic adaptations that international students have to make to make a success of their studies abroad.
