Perspectives

Dr. Dora Ho Choi-wa is currently an Associate Professor and Associate Head in the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Education University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include school leadership and management, education policy, teacher professional development, play-based learning, male participation and early childhood education. She is an active researcher in school leadership for change. Her publications have led to the professional community to rethink the role of leadership in the process of school development. Dora acts as a teacher, inspiring younger generations. In addition to educating early childhood students ranging at Higher Diploma through PhD levels, she provides mentorship and support to graduates to excel themselves in future career. Under her guidance, her postgraduate students have made contributions to the development of early childhood education through their academic and research work.
