What is it about?
This study examines how displaced women entrepreneurs in Ethiopia navigate challenges like gender norms, religion, and economic exclusion. Through interviews, it finds they face systemic barriers—financial exclusion, ethnic bias—yet some reinterpret cultural norms to empower their work. The research highlights the need for tailored support, showing entrepreneurship can both empower and reinforce inequalities. While context-specific, it urges inclusive policies and deeper study of intersectionality in displacement contexts
