The current insurance practices employed to manage flood risk in the global built environment and their applicability to Sri Lanka

What is it about?

The main contribution of this study is to identify the key areas that need to be developed in the nature of flood insurance in developing countries including Sri Lanka. These key areas were identified from the feedback of private insurers and the literature on current insurance practices.
