What is it about?
This meta-analysis analyzes 39 hospitality and tourism studies to identify factors that contribute to workplace sexual harassment and its effects on employees. The findings show that a hostile work environment is the strongest predictor of harassment, which negatively impacts work-related (job attitudes and job performance) and personal-related outcomes (well-being and reactions). The study also highlights the moderating role of power distance, female percentage, and perpetrator types.
