Research into gender issues in teaching and learning in secondary schools in Vietnam especially in relation to gender equality for girls

Why is it important?

Few studies have been carried out on gender equality in education in Vietnam. The Vietnamese government is committed to gender equality but traditional cultural norms militate against such equality.
