What is it about?

Recently, countries have borrowed education policies to improve their educational system and increase their national competitiveness. Some scholars created a theory to predict how these travelling policies evolve, and what affects their paths. The study brings new insights into the theorisation, by highlighting what happens at the school level over time. It also illustrates how school leaders overcome challenges and pursue their educational goals, thus, changing the course of policy. The study will help understand the localisation process of a travelling policy, and hence, contributes to a clearer understanding of policy processes.
