What is it about?

As climate change's negative impacts increase, people are more willing to return to green construction, such as the use of earthen durable materials. We examine the possibility to replace the cement used in Compressed Earth Blocks with a geopolymer binder, much more ecological. It finds that the cement and geopolymer differ in their influence on the thermal comfort of earthen dwellings. Therefore, their rate in earthen materials should be chosen adequately to ensure comfortable indoor environments.
