What is it about?
The study analyzed the technical efficiency of Brazilian FinTechs from 2019 to 2023 using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Financial reports were collected from the Central Bank of Brazil and the companies' investor relations websites. Data from these reports were used to measure inputs and outputs in the DEA analysis. Findings showed inefficient companies should reduce costs and improve asset management for higher returns.
