What is it about?

The importance of having a highly engaged workforce cannot be overemphasised for organisations that seek to be successful. More importantly, the practical implication of leaders’ behaviours on the engagement level of employees at work has been demonstrably confirmed in this study. Thus, it is imperative that leaders in organisations are educated and empowered to exhibit behaviours that inspire their subordinates to demonstrate stronger attachment to work and the organisation’s success. Additionally, leaders must also endeavour to support their employees with adequate resources and create a conducive work environment to enhance their current and long-term commitment thereby guaranteeing their sustainability.
