What is it about?
The main objective of this study is to validate a job satisfaction scale that can predict employee churn for Portuguese commercial airline companies. The sample consisted of 369 participants working for Portuguese commercial airlines. The metric qualities of the instrument created by the researchers were tested. Initially, an exploratory factor analysis was carried out. A confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the factor structure. Analysis of the scale's psychometric qualities allows us to conclude that it can be applied in the context of Portuguese commercial aviation. This provides an instrument whose factors make measuring employee churn prediction in Portuguese commercial aviation employees possible.
