What is it about?

Management actions needed to maintain cloud security are often ignored or get mixed up in the technical requirements of cloud security in popular published standards. This research tries to bring these actions together and gauge how they impact cloud security. A model based on AHP (Analytical Hierarchical Process) was built for selecting cloud security management actions found in published research. It can be used for consolidating opinions of key decision makers to select actions to be taken to maintain cloud security. The model was floated amongst cloud security experts to rate the most important action. The reviewers rated that aligning cloud security and business needs was most important. Other actions like building a cloud specific risk framework were deemed less important. This points to a shift in perception which requires further study.
