What is it about?

In today’s rapidly changing job market, 'soft skills' are more important than ever. We interviewed 42 industry leaders in Catalonia (Spain) to understand why employers value these traits so highly. Our study shows that self-management skills help workers stay relevant as technology changes, while strong people skills make teams more efficient. We propose a new way of looking at these abilitiesв as 'durable-adaptive capital'в to help educators and career advisors better prepare people for long-term career success.
