What is it about?
We show how even within a low gender-egalitarian societal culture, there are circumstances under which women can advance to senior leadership roles. These factors moderate equality lows in patriarchal societies and enable women to overcome any intrapersonal hindrances they may experience on the path to becoming leaders.
