What is it about?

Bioeconomic led growth provides a potential pathway for economic transformation of the region. However, having a strong Bioeconomy does not necessarily mean a being self-sufficient in agricultural production. Indeed if saving the forests or increasing forest cover means agricultural imports rise this should be fine.
