What is it about?
Many universities are reusing existing buildings instead of constructing new ones. This study examines how Thammasat University converted part of its sports stadium into academic workplaces. Results show that staff valued the location and sense of identity but faced issues with noise, privacy, and storage. Despite these limits, they adapted the spaces creatively for daily work. The study highlights that reused buildings can remain both functional and meaningful when users play an active role in shaping their environments.
