What is it about?
This paper proposes the coworking concept to resolve challenges associated with remote higher education. Coworking helps maintain the social and physical resources inherent to campus-based scholarship alongside the geographic and institutional autonomy inherent to remote work. We propose four plausible subtypes of coworking facilities that address the increasing need for remote, yet collaborative, scholarship.
