What is it about?
This study examined the college and career futures that Alayah, a 16-year old Black girl, desired and depicted in a digital collage. Alayah's collage served as a speculative design that integrated images and words to celebrate her future, assert her humanity, and (re)imagine college and career readiness curriculum in secondary English classrooms.
