What is it about?
Self-Efficacy and opportunity identification have been seen as important factor's in developing intention among students to start a business with education as supplementary tool. This paper examines the role of Self-Efficacy, opportunity recognition and the entrepreneurship education taught in university system in developing entrepreneurial intention among Indian students.

Why is it important?
This study shows that the university based entrepreneurship education plays a vital role in developing the intention to start a business and having significant effect on self-efficacy of an individual and at the same time the effect of education on the individuals ability to recognize opportunity is not significant.
Perspectives
Writing this article was great pleasure as it has co-authors who have years of experience in the entrepreneurship field. This article also unveiled the fact that theory based entrepreneurship education is as important as the practical based entrepreneurship education in developing entrepreneurial intention among students.
