Employability and career learning through an industry-led masterclass

What is it about?

This study examines whether bringing industry experts into the classroom to teach professional skills could help accounting students become more job-ready. By analysing feedback from 90 students who participated in an industry-led masterclass, we found that it was highly effective at building students' confidence and abilities while also being more accessible than traditional internships, making them a practical way to prepare all students - including international and working students - for their future careers.
