Why is it important?

It is the first time to contrast Mediterranean tourists' perceptions of their experience according to Otto and Ritchie (1006) scale

Perspectives

Service quality is not enough in tourism as the experience of the tourist in a destination is quite emotional. The scale by Otto and Ritchie (1996) includes hte subjective assessment of the tourist's experience. We use this scale to contrast perceptions of tourists about the quality of the service experience in Northern and Southern Mediterranean destinations. Management implications suggest fields to improve in the destinations under study.
