What is it about?

The development of a theoretical framework of ‘behavioral integration in IHRM headquarters’, which is a combination of the Upper Echelons Theory and the Contextual Theory, is the core of this research. This framework illustrates that behavioral integration in IHRM headquarters is developed within a specific organizational context and internal prerequisites of IHRM. The organizational context was used in a way that adds explanatory value for understanding behavioral integration of IHRM headquarters as TMGs. The study also expands previous work on upper echelons by exploring the prerequisite conditions that motivate behavioral integration in IHRM headquarters. Finally, two processes exist side-by-side and each strengthens behavioral integration according to its advantages: collaborative behaviors and e-HRM.
