Why is it important?
The study is important because it would awaken the consciousness of those at the leadership level to take action capable of reviving the rural libraries which is a Portal for Information dissemination to rural people. It would also help to alert the leaders to quickly improve the rural libraries to enhance quality service delivery to the people

The paper is quite educative and expository. It explains in detail the factors affecting the rural libraries in Nigeria and perhaps other developing nations.
