What is it about?

Examines the workplace learning of professional chefs in a Canadian context. Specifically, it considers the various strategies chefs use and the barriers and facilitators that they face in the workplace. It also discusses the learning outcomes that chefs experience as a result of their work. Highlights the context of workplace learning and discusses the implications for professional practice and future research.

Perspectives

Given my Tourism and Hospitality Management interest, experience, and role as a teacher, I found the accounts of the Chefs to be highly interesting, relevant, timely, and informative. It has helped me link theory and practice on workplace learning.
