What is it about?

Previous research has focused on the psychological impact of health crises on the population. This study extends the literature by highlighting the role of social organizations in mitigating these effects through communication on social media. Specifically, they provided resources to help their communities protect themselves from pandemic risks, acted as quality filters by sharing trusted journalistic content, and offered cultural content to help audiences escape the health and social crisis.
