What is it about?
This study examines how the Indian government negotiates with different groups (bureaucrats, unions, state governments, and private investors) when privatizing public highways. We show that successful privatization requires carefully balanced deals with each group, considering their interests and political power. This research helps governments better manage similar projects while protecting public interests.
