What is it about?

In English Bond brick masonry, a traditional pattern of alternate headers and stretchers is used, with the complexity of placement order, especially for queen closers and brickbats. This study introduces three unified templates: Tc, T1, and T2, each with a unique numbering system for precise brick placement in English bonds. Template Tc is designed explicitly for corner masonry, while T1 and T2 are for the X and Y directions. These templates standardize the bricklaying process, ensuring a proper overlap of stretchers across headers and precise placement of queen closers and brickbats. Applying these templates significantly enhances the efficiency and pace of English bond brick masonry, simplifying the construction process and reducing the margin of error. By offering a systematic approach, these templates facilitate the acquisition of masonry skills, enabling professionals and learners to achieve consistent, high-quality results. The study demonstrates that using these templates is beneficial for attaining flawless English bond masonry and advantageous over conventional techniques in terms of speed, efficiency, and productivity.
