What is it about?
Based on survey data from five Kuwaiti Islamic banks, this study finds that power distance, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, and long-term orientation enhance digital transformation performance, while indulgence has a negative effect and masculinity is not significant. Work engagement strengthens the effects of uncertainty avoidance, long-term orientation, and indulgence. Overall, the results highlight the need for culturally grounded digital transformation strategies.
