What is it about?

The level of implementation among private sector employees of six high-performance work practices (HPWP) in Spain, namely job security, extensive training, contingent remuneration, selective hiring, decentralization of decision making and information sharing. A representative national survey used.

Why is it important?

To my knowledge, this is the first comprehensive study of the six HPWP mentioned for the overall employed population in the Spanish provate sector. Additionally, the article adopts a comparative approach before (2006) and during (2010) the economic crisis, in terms of workers being under such HRM work practices.
