What is it about?

Information about earthquake-prone buildings in Wellington, New Zealand was framed in four different ways: negative frequency (# prone), positive frequency (# acceptable), negative percentage (% prone), and positive percentage (% acceptable). Among a general population sample from Wellington, the negative frequency frame led to the highest support for the relevant earthquake-strengthening legislation.
