This paper is about a partnership between a librarian and an engineering faculty member who collaborated on an NSF grant, the creation and teaching of a MOOC and research.

This is important because it is an example of how a librarian role can be extended beyond the role of support to being an active partner in the teaching, learning and research mission.
Perspectives
This was a very transformative experience for me and opened up the possibility of new avenues to pursue as part of my librarian role.
