What is it about?

Healthcare workers' attitudes and feelings (e.g., AI anxiety, self-efficacy) in the face of AI introduction into their work have not been fully explored. Based on Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), we investigated how healthcare workers' learning of AI systems is affected by observing and interacting with others and their own experiences. Findings suggest that improving healthcare workers' affect and outcome expectations toward AI system use and reducing their AI anxiety can help to increase their willingness to use AI systems.
