What is it about?

Gender diversity in corporate leadership affects financial success. Our study of Malaysian public listed companies found more women on boards and in executive roles improved performance. Female managers, initially irrelevant, saw a positive impact with fair remuneration. We stress integrating gender diversity and fair remuneration. Our research breaks new ground by exploring not just board diversity but also executive and managerial positions, offering insight into balancing financial performance and social responsibility for workplace gender equality.
