What is it about?

Social support is a key moderator for expatriate adjustment. This paper presents a theoretical model to explore the impact of social isolation on the adjustment and career development of women who initiate a move abroad out of their own accord, without organizational sponsorship, within the context of a natural crisis such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
