What is it about?

Members of families owning a family business tend to be torn between pursuing their individual career aspirations and continuing the family legacy. Our qualitative interview study shows how members of family firms tend to subordinate their personal goals to family business goals. An understanding of individual career development is mostly lacking for family members active in family firms.
