Butterfly-themed collectible African phonecards

What is it about?

Butterfly was theme in a relatively low number of African phonecards. Six out of 18 butterfly-themed African phonecards were produced with available information about species name. The most recent known geographical distribution of the identified species was wide across Africa, and conservation status of most genera is classified as “least concern”. It is suggested that the display of butterfly images in African phonecards is associated with beautifulness rather than their species conservation and endangerment status.
