What is it about?

By combining survey data and statistics in Shanghai, we analysed impact of African Swine Fever on pork consumption in urban households, through food safety and price effects in 2017-2020. Impacts of consumer confidence of pork safety on pork consumption and factors affecting consumer confidence are examined.
