What is it about?

The aim of this paper is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of studies on the topic of green supply chain management in the context of the digital economy. The paper uses Web of Science's database to search and filter related documents from 2003–2022 in order to analyse the research growth and frontier developments of green supply chain management in the digital economy. According to the search findings, a total of 682 reports in the literature related to the digital economy focused on the topic of green supply chain management and a there has been a meteoric rise in the amount of research papers and other literature devoted to the topic mentioned above in recent years, progressive increase in publications occurred after 2016. There is no established group of authors at the forefront of studies related to green supply chain management in the digital economy at the present time, and only a small number of scholars have cited seminal works in the field. It is clear from the analysis that the majority of studies in this field were published in China, with a total of 167 publications in the time period studied, along with 78 in England and 77 in the USA. The contribution of the top ten authors accounted for more than 11 percent as far as the number of publications is concerned, while the share of the top ten journals stood at around 40 percent.
