The effect of logistical immediacy on logistics service providers' (LSPs') business

What is it about?

From the perspective of operations management in the supply chain (OMSC), this study discusses and conceptualizes the influence of logistical immediacy on LSPs; specifically, their role in the face of new business scenarios is examined. In addition to revisiting the traditional problems highlighted in the literature regarding LSPs, to understand what can influence this logistical services model’s advancement, this study seeks less conventional factors affecting the current LSP model’s operations that may put businesses at risk.
