What is it about?
The public dismissal of nutrition science is not the result of public ignorance. Rather it is the consequence of the social and political organisation of science that promotes reductionist research and does not reward societal relevance. As a consequence, nutrition science is not aligned with society resulting in citizens seeking dietary credibility elsewhere. A realignment is required to remedy this situation.
