What is it about?
Cooking for others is beneficial for the health and wellbeing of offenders in preparation for release from prison. It has the potential to aid desistance from crime through improving self-esteem and confidence. Cooking for others is part of a strengths based approach to resettlement that stresses the benefits and good deeds offenders can do rather than focussing on what they lack.
