What is it about?

To improve the effectiveness of cooking skills interventions there is a need to establish/understand: the strategies used by practitioners; whether these are evidence informed; how and why these are expected to change behavioural mediators or actual food-related behaviour; and, the contexts [e.g. target groups and settings] in which particular strategies can be applied/ are more or less likely to work. This research begins to uncover such learning and suggests how practitioners' theories and effectiveness can be enhanced in future.
