What is it about?

Seaweed is rising in popularity as a food, and is a good source of iodine. Too much iodine can be deleterious to health. We surveyed seaweed food products in the UK, showing a 2.3-fold increase in availability since 2015. The iodine content in single servings was generally poorly labelled or very high.
