What is it about?

This article aims to develop a research agenda in architecture and urbanism by reviewing articles published in Archnet-IJAR from 2022 to 2024. The goal is to classify the content into three knowledge spaces: established, evolving, and emerging. Using bibliometric and textual analysis tools, the study identifies key trends in sustainability, resilience, technology, and community-centered design. Notable findings include the growing influence of AI, smart technologies, and the COVID-19 pandemic on design, while urban morphology and cultural heritage remain foundational. The research highlights the role Archnet-IJAR plays in shaping global research trends and anticipates the future trajectory of the field, with a focus on evolving areas such as bioclimatic architecture and the integration of SDGs. Although the analysis covers only three years, the study offers valuable insights into the dynamic nature of architectural and urban discourse in response to global challenges.
