What is it about?
Social media is a powerful tool for understanding architecture and the built environment. Our study shows that while social media data provides valuable insights, the methods used to analyse this data vary widely. We advocate for combining different methods and grounding research in strong theories to enhance the quality and usefulness of these insights. This approach can lead to more robust research, better collaboration across disciplines, and more effective design practices.
