What is it about?
As conversational search sessions get longer, the users may feel frustrated unless the system responses are beneficial to them. We use the economic models of search to analyze the various costs and benefits of information-seeking interactions and identify the parameters contributing significantly to user satisfaction and task success scores. Our empirical model predicts task success and user satisfaction reasonably well, with a low average prediction error.
