What is it about?
Crisis response has emerged as a salient concern for firms in the onset of COVID-19. This study provides one of the first empirical examinations of the importance of operational flexibility for positive firm performance during a major crisis (COVID-19) and how a resilience capability can be developed from the combination of technology-based operational flexibility change levers. This study finds that firms with higher operational flexibility are associated with an increase in performance.
